Jet2 prices are still very reasonable on the Belfast-Rome and Belfast-Prague routes
The Northern Irish can enjoy improved links with two major European cities with effect from today. The Belfast – Rome service operated by Jet2 will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays and will run through until 1st November , while the Prague service starts tomorrow and will operate on Mondays and Fridays until 4th January next year. For anyone living in Belfast or the surrounding area the prospect of flying from their local airport instead of travelling to Dublin will be a very attractive one.
Rome continues to be one of the most popular city break destinations and the days of operation of this new service will be ideal for anyone looking for a 3 night weekend break. For those who want a little more time in Rome a 4 night holiday from Sunday to Thursday will also be a possibility. There are so many sights to see in this incredible city – the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, to name but a few. Many visitors simply run out of time and vow to return another day to complete their explorations.
Prague is another of our top destinations here at Cities Direct. It is one of the best-preserved and attractive capital cities in Europe, offering a wealth of museums, palaces, bars and hidden alleyways, most within walking distance of each other. Amongst the main attractions are the Old Town Square, the Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock, the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The castle is a vast complex of churches, towers, gardens and royal residences and sits majestically above the Vltava River. As with the Rome flights, the Irish will have the choice of taking a weekend break from Friday to Monday or, for a more relaxed stay they can opt for a 4 night holiday from Monday to Friday.
